Pinks and Bronze

Have you ever found yourself buying the same shades of makeup over and over and again? For me it has always been the same neutral colors. So I've been working to change that because honestly, neutral is great, but pink is so much more fun! 

These fun and bright pink shades are also perfect for a sweet Valentines Day look.
 

These two products are some of my new favorites. The L'Oreal nail polish is a delicious raspberry color and I have to say I am REALLY happy with these nail polishes. They apply nicely and have nice shine even before a topcoat. I got mine for $5 at my local Kroger.

The Maybelline Colorsensational Lipstick in Pink & Proper is my new favorite! Soooo pretty. And these lipsticks are typically under $6 (check Walmart)! They wear really nicely, have a pretty sheen to them and there are a ton colors to choose from.

3. Covergirl Lip Perfection Jumbo Gloss Balm in Haute Pink Twist 

Go easy on the eyes (this is where you neutrals can come in). I pair my pinky lips with a bronze-y color. Mine is by Flirt! in Golden Lady which I got at Kohls. 

I love bronze shadows because while they are neutral, they still give your eyes TONS of pop without needing to add other shades for your crease, eyeliner, etc...

 

You can apply bronze over the whole eye, to right up under the brow done (then blend blend blend) and done.

Of course I am near the end of this eyeshadow and since I have had it so long, it is pretty much discontinued. I've done a little looking around and these are pretty good dupes for this.

L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Bronzed Taupe

 Super simple and not overdone. Amp it up for date night with a darker brown smudged in the outer V of your eye and some eyeliner on top and bottom.

Next time you are on the hunt for some new shades, head to those bright pinks. They look great on just about everyone and who doesn't love pink :)
