I am really proud of myself because today's vlog is UNDER 3 minutes! Woohoo! Today's prompt was what we feel we have gained from the blogging community and I share a bit about my LACK of involvement and how I hope to change that this year :)
Please feel free to comment or contact me, I'd love to check out your blog and get to know you bloggy folks a bit better :)
We are all also linking up with 5oh Wifey for her Girl Behind the Blog post she is doing with Alissa from Rags to Stitches so be sure to check their blogs out too!
Cute video, girl! Yes, it's hard to get over feeling silly for sending something to someone you don't know, but it's worth it and fun, I'm finding out myself, too :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks! I love how awkwardness is magnified by 1000 when writing an email to someone you don't know. I have no idea what is worse. Meeting people in person or a blogger you admire through email...haha!
DeleteHey girl! How cute are you? I'm glad you are finding your own direction in this whole blogging world lately. It has taken me so much time to finally figure out where my blog is. I gotta tell you, the BEST way I have made connections with other bloggers is through Twitter... I cant suggest it enough. I'm terrible at emails too and it is WAY easier to just write a 140 character message. Glad you linked up!
ReplyDeleteI hope you a great weekend and enjoyed your workout! I too have an etsy shop that took off last year and took a lot more time than I expected. I eventually brought my mom into the biz with me and it has been more manageable.
ReplyDeleteNice to meet you!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I wish my mom and sister were a little closer, they are both excellent at sewing! Have a wonderful weekend too :)
Deletehello! i have been blogging for 5.5 years (3.5 at What She Saw), and honestly, there are some days i still feeling like i've only just stuck a toe in the water of all this is. i still feel nervous sending emails to a lot of bloggers, even when i've read their blogs for a while or we've met in person or we talk on twitter a lot. i think that's normal!
ReplyDeletei agree with Ashley - i am ALL about twitter. i kind of treat it like text messaging for bloggers. it works so well when you just want to send off a short message or have a quick conversation!
Thanks for stopping by Annie! I definitely need to get in gear with my social networking when it comes to connecting with others. This is definitely giving me the push I need!
DeleteExcited for the next year ahead of you, girl. Learning my role, engaging with people through Twitter, and building relationships has been a huge blessing in my life these past couple of years. Nice meeting you!
